2026 Candidate Endorsements

Portland Tenants United is providing endorsements for local candidates in local races this year. Candidates are rated with one of three rankings:

we support this candidate! This is similar to an endorsement Green light - we support this candidate! This is similar to an endorsement

this candidate seems ok, but not strong enough to receive something like an endorsement. We are not opposed to someone ranking this candidate. Yellow light - this candidate seems ok, but not strong enough to receive something like an endorsement. We are not opposed to someone ranking this candidate.

Red light - this candidate is bad for tenants, do not rank!

These rankings are based on their questionnaire answers, which you can view by clicking a candidate's name. The rankings are compiled from rankings by a group of PTU members. Any PTU member can participate in the ranking process by signing up here.
