The outbreak of the coronavirus and the resulting closures have led many to lose jobs and income, and many renters will not be able to pay their rent in the months to come, nor pay off massive debt accrued from deferred rent at a later time, while managing current rent and other bills. At this time we need landlords to take the lead and show solidarity by voluntarily waiving or reducing rent and rental associated fees for the duration of the shutdown.
